316L Stainless Steel and TC4 Titanium Alloy Brazed Finished Product

Combining 316L stainless steel with TC4 titanium alloy in a single finished component gives you the best of both materials. 316L offers excellent corrosion resistance and is widely used in medical and chemical environments. TC4 delivers high strength low density and exceptional biocompatibility. Brazing them together creates a part that performs across multiple demanding requirements.

The challenge is significant. These two metals have different melting points and thermal expansion rates. Without precise control the joint can crack or form brittle layers that fail under stress. Standard welding often proves difficult due to the formation of unwanted intermetallic compounds.
Our vacuum brazing process overcomes these obstacles. The controlled environment eliminates oxidation and allows the filler metal to wet both surfaces evenly. Careful thermal management ensures a strong consistent bond line without damaging the base materials.

The finished product is a reliable high-strength assembly that maintains the corrosion resistance of 316L and the lightweight strength of TC4. Each joint is durable stable and ready for demanding service.

This brazed combination is ideal for medical devices aerospace components chemical processing equipment and marine applications. When you need a component that resists corrosion handles high stress and performs reliably 316L to TC4 brazing delivers.
